Sento-kun (or, I Could Hurl)

The Japanese affinity for all things cute can sometimes take very wrong turns, especially concerning mascots. In my opinion, mascots do not a company/organization make. It’s the people, service, product.

When I first caught sight of Sento-kun, I wanted to hurl. I still want to hurl. The fact that many Japanese find it cute makes me want to hurl a thousand times over.

So that I don’t have to hurl alone, I am going to share Sento-kun with the world via various images found on Google Images Japan. (Get your paper cups ready…)
